Hello,

I am using aspire 3.5 and am having a few issues with open vectors and the trimming function. What i did was imported a bit map and attempted to use bitmap tracer. That didn't work out so well because the picture was to pixelated so i ended up tracing it myself. My issue is that i am left with about 70 open vectors. I have attempted to use the different join vectors tools with no luck. They just obscure the drawing and make it unusable. I have also attempted node editing but the issue seems to be that some of the shapes just aren't closed at all because i just traced over them. Do i have to make every single thing a closed shape? Is there a way to have lines that aren't shapes and use the 3-D roughing and finishing tool path? Another issues i am having is with the trim function; Especially when trimming lines from curved edges. When i go to trim an overhang it either deletes the whole line or it deletes part of it but doesn't connect to the lines and still leaves an overhang. I have tried to check and uncheck the rejoin trimmed sections button with no luck.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
